Sec 3 Cohort Programme (Applied Learning Modules) - 2026
From 19–22 May, Secondary 3 students participated in the ApLM Programme, gaining hands-on experience across various industries such as Business, Media, Computing, Biomedical Science, Sports, and Hospitality. Through practical activities, learning journeys, and a final project showcase, students developed valuable skills in creativity, teamwork, confidence, and industry awareness.

S2 STEAM Cohort Programme
Over four days, our Secondary 2 students dived into the STEAM Cohort Programme, exploring the mangrove boardwalks at Sungei Buloh, uncovering stories at the National Museum, designing their own pencil cases with cutters, heat presses and paint in the STEAM Makers Programme, engineering movable toys with Strawbees in the Toy Workshop, and hearing from an A*STAR aerospace scientist. Together, these experiences connected head, heart and hands through science, technology and the arts.

Health and Youth Week (Sleep Wellness Initiative)
Hillgrove launched a Sleep Wellness initiative under HaYW: THRIVE 2026, providing sleep kits and a 4-week challenge to encourage healthy sleep habits among students. Art students also collaborated with MOE to create a sleep wellness comic, promoting rest and well-being across the school community.

HaYW: THRIVE 2026 took place from 7–10 July 2026 as part of Hillgrove’s 25th Anniversary celebrations. The week focused on talent, rest, and connection, with students participating in various activities that encouraged creativity, healthy living, well-being, youth advocacy, and stronger connections within the school community

Health and Youth Week (Gear Up)
🐴 What a way to kick off Health and Youth Week! Our students got up close with some very special visitors through Equal Ark — learning to interact with the horses, practise self-awareness, and even do some grooming before snapping photos together. The excitement was contagious, even for students watching from outside the hall! 😄 A huge thank you to all our staff and school leaders who came down!

Health and Youth Week (Bring Your Plushie Day)
Bring Your Plushie Day Hillgrovians brought their favourite plushies to school as part of HaYW: THRIVE 2026. The day provided opportunities for students to connect with peers, share stories about their plushies, and learn about the role of comfort in sleep wellness. From sharing during assembly and recess to class photos and memory-making, the day celebrated connection and well-being.We appreciate all students who took part in this special initiative.

Health and Youth Week
As part of Hillgrove Health and Youth Week, the History Unit collaborated with the National Heritage Board to bring history to life through an immersive learning experience. In connection with Chapters 3 and 4 on the lives of migrants in Singapore, our Secondary 1 history students explored the experiences of early coolies through an interactive educational game. Hillgrove Internationalisation Trip - Shanghai 2026
A group of Hillgrovers recently embarked on an enriching learning journey to Shanghai, where they explored the city’s rich history, vibrant culture, and modern innovations. A highlight of the trip was the meaningful school exchange with Shanghai Jincai North Secondary School, where students interacted with their peers, experienced classroom learning, and gained insights into a different education system and culture.
